Bimba Rodless

The Bimba Ultran® High Load Slides have large load bearing capabilities, 304 stainless steel body, “U” Cup seals for lower dynamic friction, greater carriage precision, and leak-free construction.  The base model UHL offers both axial and alternate port locations.  These actuators are repairable, and must be sent to Bimba for any repairs needed.

Bimba Ultran® Rodless cylinders feature magnets on the carriage and piston that form a strong bond that holds them together.  When the cylinder is actuated, the piston and carriage move back and forth as one unit.  Common application uses for this cylinder include transferring product, feeding, opening doors, cutting, and more.

• Space savings of nearly 50% in most models

The Ultran® Slide features built in guides for self-guided motion with about 50% space savings over conventional cylinders.  These actuators are pre-lubricated at the factory, which greatly increases cylinder life.  They are designed to handle side and moment loads.  These load carrying capabilities can be enhanced by ordering external shock absorbers.

The Bimba Ultran® Band rodless cylinder features a specially engineered sealing strip which outperforms all other band sealing systems on the market.  A stainless steel cover strip protects the sealed area and prolongs the life of the band.  These cylinders are used in a variety of applications including opening/closing doors, conveying, packaging, and more.
